If you encounter any playback issues with a GJM release, please make sure you are using the most recent version of MPC and xysubfilter, or mpv.
It is highly recommended that you use mpv.

Did you do something special for the “The Metal Bat” episode title in the preview part?
Why I ask?
Because only AssFilter as subtitle renderer shows it completely while the intern one of MPC-HC, VSFilter and XySubFilter only shows “The”.
I use xysubfilter (Not updated to latest version though) and in both this ep’s title and preview title, it only shows “The” and nothing else.
They’re targeting and recommending mpv. Correct playback with anything vsfilter based isn’t assured.

That’s funny ’cause I get incorrect playback on MPV (positioning is off) while watching some older fansubs.
Well, w/e. Some signs won’t work, not a big deal.
MPC is way too comfortable to switch.
I also have a similar-ish problem, but with me it is right at the beginning of the episode. When the cut after the first two lines takes place, the whole mpv process weirds out. I can see neither the subs nor the mpv interface (which leads me to think it may also be related to my lacking hardware). I am using iamscum’s setup with updated mpv, if that helps.
