This was possibly the worst episode for typesetting that we’ve experienced so far in either season of Kaguya-sama. Good god.
Ep5 is continuing at a more normal pace and at most should be a day or so later than usual.
We apologize for the slowness of Ep4, but the workload and schedule conflicts made this an unavoidable outcome this time around.
All that said, welcome to Iino Miko as a member of the anime adaptation at last!

If you encounter any playback issues with a GJM release, please make sure you are using the most recent version of MPC and xysubfilter, or mpv.
It is highly recommended that you use mpv.
Please note that there may be minor rendering differences between MPC/xysubfilter and mpv.
Bless the typesetters. That job is not fun.

*Glico Pose* Praise to the Gods for the staff’s hard labor. Thank you for grueling work to bring us quality subs.
There are some things in this world that are worth waiting for, and this definitely qualifies.
Though for some reason, the “Part A” chapter mark seems to be in the wrong place…
Yup, a little copy-paste error. Should be fixed for BDs.
? I happily stan GJM
Wow, that was some impressive typesetting! My 2012 laptop went 3 fps when books in the first skit and charts in the second skit appeared.
Yes.
I know that typesetting was hard when mpv loses stacks of frames on my 4.4GHz quad-core processor.
Thanks for the episode, guys!
Your job is amazing!
Thank you! I’m glad to have waited for this.
Thanks!
Most impressive ;*)
What font style did you use in OP lyrics?
It’s Panefresco.
Hayasaka is a funny girl! Thank you for your hard work!
Stay safe.
Well worth the wait. Major props to this staff team with the amount of time and effort put in to make these quality subs.
Holy fucking shit, obvious Monogatari references throughout the episode. This adaptation is going places, and I love it!
Awesome typesetting, too! Truly doing God’s work there, friends.
I am happy waiting for such great quality.
